Finley FFA Students Provide Thanksgiving Meal Through “Feed-A-Family” Service Project

During the month of November, the Finley FFA Chapter continued its tradition of giving back through the annual Feed-A-Family Thanksgiving service project. FFA members signed up to bring in essential food items—from stuffing and potatoes to canned vegetables, rolls, and dessert ingredients—to help provide a complete Thanksgiving meal for a local family in need. Throughout the week of Thanksgiving, students delivered their donations to the ag classroom, where the items were gathered, organized, and prepared for delivery.

This project reflects the heart of the FFA Motto:
Learning to Do, Doing to Learn, Earning to Live, Living to Serve. Members learn responsibility and compassion by taking action, work together to make a difference, and serve their community in a meaningful way during the holiday season. By donating a full Thanksgiving meal, Finley FFA students help ensure that a local family can enjoy a warm, memorable holiday with less stress and more gratitude.
The Feed-A-Family project remains a powerful reminder that service is at the core of agricultural education, and that even small acts of kindness can have a big impact.
