The Finley FFA Chapter will be donating two sets of bunkbeds to local nonprofit Mo’s Place on Tuesday, June 11, to support their mission of keeping foster siblings together. This is the fourth year Finley FFA has constructed bunkbeds for Mo’s Place, for a total of seven bunkbeds donated, thanks to funding from a National FFA Living to Serve Grantstudents assembling bunkbed

Finley FFA Chapter Advisor Ronnie Bush used the semester-long National FFA grant of $1,200 to purchase materials for the bunkbeds and to incorporate their construction into classroom curriculum. Students started constructing the bunkbeds in April in the River View High School CTE shop and will deliver the beds this week. From there, the bunkbeds will be distributed to foster families to help alleviate issues of limited space and allow siblings to be placed together.
