On November 19th, Finley FFA members gathered after school in Mrs. Yochum’s classroom for a meaningful and hands-on community service event known as Knot Night. Nine dedicated members spent a couple of hours tying fleece blankets that will be donated to the Tri-City Union Gospel Mission to support individuals and families in need this winter.
Through teamwork and effort, students completed twelve warm, cozy blankets, which will soon be delivered to the mission. The project not only provided essential comfort to those facing hardship but also gave members the chance to work together toward a common goal.
Finley FFA continues to uphold its commitment to service, believing strongly in giving back to the community through projects like this one. Knot Night is just one example of how the chapter is making a positive impact throughout the year.
