On November 19th, Finley FFA members traveled to the Moses Lake Fairgrounds to compete in the Washington State FFA Tractor Driving Career Development Event (CDE). This statewide competition tests members’ agricultural mechanics skills through three main components: a written exam on tractor safety and operation, a parts identification section, and a hands-on driving course requiring precision, control, and safe equipment handling.
Representing Finley FFA were
Landon L. and
Jantzen N., who both demonstrated strong skills and professionalism throughout the event. As a team, they placed 16th out of 30 teams, showing excellent cooperation and knowledge. Individually, Landon placed 47th and Janzten placed 45th, earning recognition for their efforts in a highly competitive field.
