Finley Student Leaders Prepare National FFA Convention & Expo
Posted on 10/21/2022
Finley FFA members are joining students and supporters from across the country to celebrate agricultural education during the 95th Annual National FFA Convention & Expo, taking place from October 26-29 in Indianapolis, Indiana. The event was held virtually last year, and students are looking forward to returning to an in-person convention.

This year, five members from the Finley FFA Chapter will be in attendance. Members have spent countless hours preparing, doing community service projects, supervised agricultural experience projects, competing in various career development events or leadership development events, and attending local and state leadership workshops and fundraising events. Finley students Anna Cooper, Hans Miles, StevieLynn Russell and Kyia Miles will get to experience the sea of blue as thousands of FFA members come together to celebrate, learn, lead and inspire.

The 95th Annual National FFA Convention & Expo is an opportunity for students to be exposed to new career paths and opportunities while celebrating the accomplishments these future leaders have made over the past year. Throughout the week, members will attend general convention sessions where they will be inspired by their peers and explore various career paths. In addition, attendees can participate in career success tours and student and teacher workshops. Those in attendance can also participate in a service event, while FFA members across the country can join the National Days of Service in their local communities.

The FFA General convention sessions will be aired live on RFD-TV and The Cowboy Channel. FFA members and supporters can tune in and watch gavel-to-gavel coverage of the event. To learn more, visit convention.FFA.org.
