February 18th-25th is National FFA Week! River View High School is celebrating with activities all week, including dress-up days, a scavenger hunt, and prizes and goodies for winners. Each day, winners will be chosen at the high school for dress up. The scavenger hunt prize will be an accumulation of the week's participation and the winner will be awarded their basket of goodies on Monday, Feb. 27th at lunch.
Tuesday, February 21st
Dress up Day - "FLANNEL"
- Scavenger hunt titled “Ag In Our World” (watch for the QR code each day)
- FFA Movie Night at the Ag Shop after school, 2:30-5:00 PM (Popcorn and nachos served...bring your own refreshments)
Wednesday February 22nd
Dress up Day - "Country Club VS Country"
- Scavenger hunt titled “Wise Owl Wednesday” (watch for the QR code each day)
- "Dips & Donuts" at 7:15 AM, First year FFA members come out for this event and get a treat that morning
- First Year FFA members Discovery and Greenhand Ceremonies, 6:00 PM in Mrs. Yochum's room. Must be in attendance to receive your jacket pin. Cake and punch served and families are invited!
Thursday, February 23rd
Dress up Day - "BLUE & GOLD"
- Scavenger hunt titled “I Believe in the Future of Agriculture.” (watch for the QR code each day)
- Gratitude Day - FFA officers say THANK YOU to Finley School District employees for all they do with a breakfast starting at 7:00 AM in the RVHS Staff Room.
Friday, February 24th
Dress up Day - "Professional Day" (for FFA Members that's OD!)
- Scavenger hunt titled “Blue & Gold Forever”
- Lower Columbia Basin FFA Jamboree all day at RVHS, FMS, and Community Center. FFA members competing in CDEs and LDEs need to report to the Ag Shop by 7:50 AM in OD that morning!
Monday, February 27th
First Year Team Member Competition and Ag Education LDE competition at Goldendale. Members meet at Ag Shop at the start of 5th period in OD.
