Hello Panthers! It’s October! September has already left, and goodness, it doesn’t feel like it’s been that long! Let's look back and see what the River View Chapter of FCCLA has been up to.

September was the month of our annual blood drive!
We had over 40 people try to donate blood, and we are all grateful to those people. FCCLA has also been running concessions for our home football games, making sure those who are there to watch the game are fed and hydrated! The regional meeting for FCCLA has happened. Students who attended enjoyed a day of meeting new people and learning about FCCLA at the HAPO Center. You all looked fabulous!
Step One activity was a theme at one of our weekly member meetings. Students played Kahoot and learned the basics of FCCLA and what a great organization we are.

Now what is FCCLA planning to do? Our
butterbraid fundraiser is going on right now, so if you want some yummy pastries, find an FCCLA member and buy! (Come to me, the historian, I will happily take your money.) We will also still be working home game concessions until football season ends.
FCCLA also plans to go to the Kennewick Life Care Center on October 31
st to play games with the residents and help make the seniors' Halloween a little better.
Signing off,
Alicia Stith, Historian
