Both Finley elementary and middle school students enjoyed presentations about bike and train safety from RVHS students at the end of November.
On November 21, one group of high school presenters performed a play while the other shared a presentation, booklet, and quiz game all around train safety for Finley students. Middle school students learned facts about trains, directions for safely crossing train tracks by foot, bike, or car, and other train safety tips, highlighting the importance of keeping safe around the railroad tracks that run next to the middle and high schools in Finley as kids walk or bike to school. The train safety project was part of the Safe Kids Coalition grant with the Benton-Franklin Health District.

Stefania Tlachi continued this safety education on November 28 with a bike and traffic safety presentation to elementary. This presentation is part of their FCCLA project, which Stefania will present at the FCCLA Regional Meeting in January as well, under the National Programs in Action category.
